half the Sox team demands a meeting with ownership seeking to have this baseball genius fired.  This doesn't seem possible.  It was Harnisch/ Glavine/ Floyd/ Hundley. Hamilton / Steve Phillips fault when he was here.  He is obviously one of the most sought after managers around, all that time in Japan was a self imposed exile.

LOL at the biggest joke in the game running a storied franchise into the ground, staying in the cellar of his division and causing the biggest team mutiny in recent memory.

It's almost as unbelievable  as Carlos Beltran coming back from a devastating career ending injury to play the outfield everyday and put up MVP numbers again.  Miracle cure in St Louis!!!!!

I really liked this book. I don't want to post any spoilers but it is set in Nazi Germany and has some of the most memorable characters I have encountered.

If dw wins this year it will be two consecutive titles for the mets.  When is the last time that happened( back to back titles by two players from same team?  I remember aroid winning it when he was young around the time Edgar Martinez was dh Ing it up in Seattle.  We're they back to back I think Edgar won 3 or 4?

All this guy does is hit.  A batting crown isn't out of the question.  He proved himself last year as one of the best hitters in the league and I hope he continues to progress.
