Come with me...

So...I know some of you have (rightly) questioned whether my vacation will eventuate.
Well, this time it is a certain flier - 23 sleeps until departure. I have beautifully 'innoculated' this vacation from any possibility of work interference - for the last two weeks I'm not taking any case that is liable to go for more than one day.
I have met some of you personally (and had to carry each of you out of a bar - you know who you are). The rest of you kind people, I'm simply aching to meet. I really, really hope that we can get a mini-outing to happen. We can work on the finer details if we get any interest.
I conducted a straw poll on Facebook with Maria and DK and it seems that the April 7 game against Atlanta at 1.10pm is as convenient for anyone as it gets. I'm the most flexible person given I have no other binding obligations (apologies for the tautology).
While I am in NY we have games at home on April 5, 7, 8, 9, 10 and 11. I'm happy to go to any game that is easy for others to get to; whenever they want to go. Actually, I'll regard getting to three of those games a 'par' score - anything less will disappoint me!
Please try to see if you can make it - who knows when I'll get back (or out of prison)!!!

I can't do that 7th/8th weekend, as it's Passover and I'll be out of town, but I can do the night game on the 9th.The seventh will be tough for me ... for some reason my wife expects me to be around on her birthday. But I'd be down for Monday the 9th.

I'm happy to go both Sat and Mon.
If you're willing to do that, it would be great since Monday is gonna be a little tough for me.

Leaving baseball to one side, I'm hoping we can get our families together for a bit.I think we can swing Saturday, as long as we have no Easter weekend plans I am unaware of. Wow this could be a helluva weekend, OD on Thursday and the long awaiting introduction to my brother from down under on Saturday.

And, for any of you arses who have failed to get into the spirit of things; I wish you an old Australian curse:
'May your chooks turn into Emus and kick your dunny down'!

So...Saturday and Monday (minimum) for me.
And, for any of you arses who have failed to get into the spirit of things; I wish you an old Australian curse:
'May your chooks turn into Emus and kick your dunny down'!
Yeah? Well here's an old Greek curse:
'May a weird customs inspector discover a secret compartment in your only sister.'

That is, may your chickens turn into giant ostrich-like birds who will knock over your outhouse. It does sound better your way. The reference to Emus had me thinking of Brad Emaus, last year's Opening Day starting second baseman for the Mets, whose performance turned out to be dunny-quality.So...Saturday and Monday (minimum) for me.
