Two games scheduled today, making it a big potential points day. The Brewers play their first NLCS game, in their 14th season in the league. They made it to one AL Championship Series in their 29 seasons in the AL (they won a one-run, sudden-death 5th game over the Angels to take that series, including a seventh inning, two-out, bases loaded, two-RBI single by Cecil Cooper that put the Brewers ahead to stay). For the Cardinals, today's will be their 54th NLCS game. Only the Braves have played more NLCS games -- they have played 60. But the Cardinals can tie the Braves today for most NLCS games won -- the Cards are currently at 26 and the Braves are at 27.
