Let me state that I am very, very happy to know you are ok.
About the reason why you should be a regular here again... well... because you just made ME post here again.
I was talking to EJ last week on twitter (please don´t kill me), and we were talking about how we all should come back home. THR is home.
My lame excuses for being away for about 2+ years
-Lots of work
-Facebook and Twitter on the blackberry
-Mets sucking big time
THR is like the home at the small town you leave once you grow up because you want to conquer the World, you start your quest, you have success, you fail, you meet Love, Love brokes your heart, friends seems like brothers, friends betray you, you think you are on the money track, you are really broke... and after life has treated you like a Punching Bag for some time, you realize that it is time to go back Home.... THR is Home.

All kidding aside, I believe that this community is wonderful. I may not post as much, but that is a result of the Mets and my spending more quality time with my family. I still love everyone here, and will try my best Ro post more often.

I'm obviously quite late to this discussion, but I remain alive. I haven't been on the board much (and as a general matter I'm very sporadic on social networking generally) and that's simply because I have been going like gangbusters at work for quite some time with not much respite, and otherwise try to spend time with my family. As kids get older scheduling gets harder (esp with 2 working parents. (Truth be told even in terms of hanging out with my friends as of late has been limited unless its something that harmonizes with family outings etc.) No problems with THR or anyone on it, and nothing to do with the Mets often being committed to sucking. (indeed the Mets struggles often inform some of the funnier postings round here).I hope everyone here is doing great and generally if someone needs to get a hold of me just shoot me a PM. And I do hope to post from time to time (hey, I never even got to blather on about how awesome last season of Breaking Bad was).
I don't know what to make in terms of Agg's questions and comments. I assume he has his reasons. Only thing I will say is that this summer I had the privilege of speaking at a memorial service for Professor Dana Brand, and I remarked that Dana represented everything that THR valued - civility, intelligence, and a great sense of humor. None of that has changed, and I can also say that early on when I first met the folks here on the old site, Aggs was (and of course remains) emblematic of those values.
