I have a love-hate relationship with smooth jazz. Well, at least what I know as smooth jazz whenever I listen to a station touted as smooth jazz. Half of it I love, and it's usually coming from an R&B side with a strong beat. Then again, it just might be just R&B on a smooth jazz station.
But, yeah, the other half is terrible. Kenny G is something we can all hate.

That's an odd cross-instrument comparison to make. Perhaps Kenny G makes Grover Washington Jr. [sound] like Ornette (which of course he doesn't, because he wasn't good either).And Kenny G makes Grover Washington Jr. look like Thelonius Monk. Just ask Pat Metheny (who apparently loathes Kenny G).
And why does someone like Pat Metheny even feel the need to talk about Kenny G?
